Forging for Grinding & SAG Balls
SAG is an acronym for semi-autogenous frinding. SAG mills are autogenous mills that also use grinding balls like a ball mill. A SAG mill is usually a primary or first stage grinder. SAG mills use a ball charge of 8% to 21%.
What is the difference between grinding and SAG balls?
SAG mill is the primary tool for grinding. SAG mill is used before the other mills. Ball mill is secondary, and it is used after the SAG mill. SAG mill breaks the raw metal into pieces for the further grinding.
